How it works
This is not a blind find-and-replace. It targets Korean-shaped personal data before you share a log, ticket, or meeting note.
- Drop a file — TXT, CSV, TSV, LOG, MD, or JSON. UTF-8 is preferred; Windows EUC-KR/CP949 dumps are auto-detected when Hangul scores better.
- Or paste text from CS notes, Notion, Slack, or email drafts
- Toggle types — phone, resident registration number (RRN), bank account, email
- Mask — replace hits with ★ and highlight them by type
- Copy or download the masked file for safe external sharing
Everything runs in your browser. Nothing is uploaded. Use this when you need a Korean PII batch masker for a support export, not a generic redaction plugin.
FAQ
How are RRNs detected?
We look for a valid calendar YYMMDD plus a sex digit (1–8) in a 13-digit pattern, and use the classic checksum when it applies. It is a first-pass mask, not an official identity check.
Will account numbers false-positive?
Only hyphenated 10–14 digit groups are candidates, and phone/RRN spans win on overlap. Always skim the highlight preview before you send the file.
Can I keep emails visible?
Yes—turn off the email toggle and remask. The last paste and toggle set stay in this browser only.
What encodings can I drop?
UTF-8 (with or without BOM) and Korean Windows EUC-KR/CP949. If the file is larger than 2MB, split the log first. The download keeps the original extension and appends -masked.
